Shooting Stars || Jimmy&Castiel
Castiel rose to his feet too, finding a pair of boxers. But he was quite sure these weren’t his, so that meant Jimmy put on his. Castiel shrugged and put them on anyway, moving to hop onto the desk that was next to Jimmy, looking at him.
“I don’t want to be engaged to anyone,” Castiel said. He sighed. “We can try. To run away…”
It never hurt to try something, after all. Castiel had to admit he felt a little nervous about it. They would be entirely on their own. But knowing them, they would manage. But it would be different and new. They didn’t know what to expect.
Jimmy tore his gaze from the farm to look at Castiel, blinking slowly. After a moment, he looked back at the farm, propping an elbow on the windowsill, resting his head in his hand.
“I don’t… want to pull you away from this though,” he stated softly. From their home. From school. From whatever future Castiel had in front of him, which, Jimmy knew, would be bright no matter what route Castiel decided to take. Could he really be that selfish to take this all away from him?
He turned to face him again, free hand moving to take one of his brother’s hands. “We should get some money first. Unless we’re planning on using magic to get a place to stay.. Or jobs for food and rent.” Maybe running away wasn’t such a good idea.
Castiel thought about it. It wasn’t going to be easy. Running away wasn’t known for being easy, after all. But if Jimmy wanted it, so did he. It was their best shot.
“We can stay a bit longer. Perhaps we can finish school early and get jobs. If we don’t spend the money and save it up, we can use it to run away,” Castiel said. “That might be our best shot if we are going to take this seriously.”
Castiel slowly came closer, placing his hands on Jimmy’s hips. Jimmy had slender hips. It was a weird thing to notice. But it was true. Castiel didn’t pay attention to his own body much, and wondered if his were too.
